Bestimmungsanfragen bringen deswegen nichts - man könnte höchstens einige Spinnen ausschließen
And how was it that we generally regard colour in regards of stable
characters in determination? Colour is a poor indicator of anything. Red
abdominal setae can be bloody vibrantly crimsom in postmolt fading to a
pale tan in many species. If we are to use color to anything - patterns
can have _some_ value. But what generally count is the precise
collecting locality, placement and arrangement of the stridulating
organ, shape and structure of spermathecae and palpal bulb, spination,
leg lenght relations, and scopulation and in lesser degree clypeus and
ocular arrangement. The shape of fovea is now generally considered too
unstable to be of any use. All these characters and some others more
specific to some specimens has to bee seen in relation to each other and
have to be compared with the suspected species' type species, and a good
array of congeners if not all congeners to be of any real value.
